The Alstroemeria Lily (also known as the Peruvian Lily) is one of the most loved and beautiful flowers to give and recieve. Not only are their dramatic blooms a delight to have around the house, the meaning behind them is very powerful as well. Each of the six petals represents a different characteristic: understanding, humour, patience, empathy, commitment and respect. Often thought to represent mutual support, the Peruvian Lily has no scent, making it ideal for those with allergies. Their vase life can be up to two weeks when cared for properly.
