Calathea roseopicta, commonly called as Rose painted calathea, is a striking tropical houseplant appreciated for its stunning foliage. The leaves of the plant are typically deep green with contrasting markings. Its broad, tropical foliage has a feathery pattern of bright pink, resembling brush strokes or splashes of paint. The undersides of the leaves are deep burgundy colour, adding another layer of visual interest. The foliage of Calathea are not only eye-catching but also dynamic. During the day, the leaves are horizontal, showing off their vibrant patterns. However, as evening approaches, the leaves fold up in a prayer-like fashion.
