1. Keep the Oasis Wet 💧: Your runner is arranged in floral foam (oasis), which holds water for the flowers instead of a vase. Bet they're thirsty! Pour a little water slowly onto the foam every day so it stays damp. If it feels light or dry to the touch, it's time for a drink.
2. Don't Move the Stems ✋: Each stem has been placed carefully into the foam. Try not to pull out or push in the stems. Once a stem leaves the foam, it loses its water channel and won't settle back in the same way.
3. Mist Them Gently 🌿: Lightly mist the flowers and foliage with water once a day to keep the petals fresh and hydrated, especially in warm or dry weather.
4. Remove Spent Blooms🥀: Any flowers that are past their prime release ethylene gas, which ages the flowers around them. Gently snip off wilting blooms at the base to keep the rest of your runner fresh and happy.
5. Keep Them Cool 🧊: Last but not least, keep your runner in a cool spot, away from direct sunlight, radiators, computers, televisions, fireplaces and ovens. Place a tray or mat underneath to protect your table from any moisture.
